Michael Jackson, pop icon, just died at the age of 50. Paramedics were called to his home on June 25, 2009, but apparently didn't have a pulse at the time. He was rushed to a hospital in Los Angeles, but they were unable to revive him.

Yes, it's too early to know what triggered it, but apparently it was cardiac arrest. :(

I'm watching CBS-TV and they just did a promo saying they will update Michael Jackson's condition when they get back from commercials. CNN is reporting that Jackson has been hospitalized.

What's source reported his death?

It's been reported here:

http://www.abc.net.au/news/stories/2009/06/26/2609

But both CNN & MSNBC are still saying he's just been rushed to a hospital.

it's looking like a plain old heart attack. he was prepping for a new planned 3 year world tour, it seems, and had been invested in physically getting ready to perform. possibly he just overdid trying to get into shape and his heart couldn't take it. there is no hint so far of any kind of drug or other complication.

Yes, possibly. I'm sure information will come out about his health over time.

it is unfortunate he was a great entertainer for sure. I did not however, agree with his constant surgeries. And, the lawsuits he endured were probably enough to make anyone else their mind. Hopefully, he is at peace now.
