Michael Vick nfl player released from the Atlanta Falcons. Michael Vick is no longer an Atlanta Falcon. The Falcons this morning cut Vick from his contract. The team's one-time star quarterback is now going to be available for others teams to make offers. Falcons General Manager Thomas Dimitroff says that if the NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell decides to reinstate Vick, it would be best for him to go with another team. Vick is under home arrest at his home in Hampton, Virginia as he finishes a 23-month sentence for dogfighting.
