With the sad and untimely death of pop legend Michael Jackson this year, be ready for the Michael Jackson Halloween Costume to become the hottest costume of 2009. Costume companies are already boosting production and even adding different versions to the Michael Jackson costume range.

It is kind of ironic when you consider that his life was something of a fancy dress parade in itself, continually reinventing himself and trying to achieve new disguises and changes to his apperance.

Many including his most ardent fans might consider the popularity of the Michael Jackson Halloweeen costume something of a slur on his ever growing legend but I think it more a huge marke of respect and love that so many will want to celebrate his life and work by dressing up as their pop hero.

There are many Michael Jackson Halloween costumes to choose from. The first that springs to mind is obviously the most famous pop video of all time Thriller. Expect to see a whole host of thriller costumes this Halloween night but that won't be the only one in evidence.

My favorite video is actually Billie Jean and sure enough you can get yourself a Billie Jean costume and no i am not talking about a lady tennis player! The Bad video was another tremendous video and like Billie Jean has its own costume too. This is hardly surprising when you think that Michael Jackson's videos actually revolutionized the whole music video industry.

So whether you are a big fan or not why not pay tribute to the pop legend and get yourself a Michael Jackson costume this Halloween and strut your stuff all over the neighbor hood or at whatever Halloween party you may be attending. You are sure to be a big hit especially if you can practice a few classic Michael Jackson dance moves before you go out.
