Michael Jackson is dead?! I woke up in disbelief to my husband watching the news reports about Michael Jackson’s death. I couldn’t actually believe it, I mean ok he was only human but when a legend such as Michael Jackson dies of a heart attack at the tender age of 50 it is a crying shame.

Despite the more recent allegations that he was a child molester you can’t help but feel sorry for him. Just what will he be remembered for? I sincerely hope that people can sweep aside the bad and remember Michael Jackson for his music, dances and voice that was like no other. However it seems like he will be remembered for his transition from black to white, plastic surgery, allegations of being a paedophile and dangling his child over the balcony at a hotel.

I can’t help but feel saddened by the cruel take of the world and the way that the media are covering his life. Whether we like it or not Michael Jackson was a legend. That very was sends a cold shiver down my back as I am typing this article because was is a term used for something that has gone, and is but a faded memory in the distance.

Guilty or innocent any man that had to go through the trials and media attention that he had to live up to had to be made of steel. One of the songs that I remember are black and white and I think he has to be credited for such a classy take on racial issues. Even In 2009 the world is in racial turmoil and people are always looking at the outside instead of within.

I really hope that Michael Jackson’s death is of natural causes, and not a legend that was bullied out of society and turned to take his own life. Personally I think he was a strong man and didn’t overdose , infact I cant imagine such a legend even contemplating that it kind of angers me that so many people are asking if he did use methods to end his troubled life.

One thing I do hope is that after his Michael Jacksons death, he will be laid to rest in peace and people will value the music that he brought to earth.

Once again, this is conjecture and no official statements regarding medication or cause of death have been made at this time.
