Microsoft Project Natal XBox 360 made a brief appearance on the Jimmy Fallon(project natal) show tonight and I was literally blown away.I am nearing forty years old and I found myself dreaming about owning one.I have not had this feeling in a long time.Code named Project Natal for XBox 360 its controllor free so you play the game with your body,I first heard about it on June 1st at the Electronic Entertainment Expo and it looks like it will be a game changer when it goes head to head with WII in 2010.This add on to the XBox 360 console runs off of an advanced sensor device which includes,camera,depth sensor,microphone,its own processor which captures three dimensional motion,facial recognition,and voice recognition.That was a mouthful.The project natal depth sensor runs off of an infrared sensor,Microsoft purchased much of the intillectual property used to build the device from a third party.Demos of the game have been shown using games such as burnout paradise,paint party,and ricochet.Microsoft Director Alex Kipman fostered project natals development.

Project Natal for the Xbox 360 has ben years in the making and was developed using state of the art technology.Microsoft acquired much of the technology from a third party which it now owns.The future of video games is set.The more high tech a game is the bigger for the followers.The game consoles that can keep the gamers interest with more gadgets and interfaces that will not be available on a computer wil keep the game console like the xbox 360 ahead of the field.This all makes sense because a computer technically is not made to just play games but a gaming console like the xbox is ,so it should naturally have the more advanced technology.Computer games have become very advanced as of late but with the latest advances in gaming consoles the bar has been set allot higher for computer games to be able to compete with this type of technology.Score one for project natal for realizing this and making the gap a little bit bigger then before.Project natal xbox 360 should be hitting stores in a few months and if you are like me I can not wait.
