Microsoft Security Essentials beta officially available

Is no longer secret to anyone: Microsoft is working on a free security software paid to replace the discontinued and future Windows Live OneCare.



The novelty is that now the Microsoft Security Essentials (by little known by codename Morro) is officially available for download. Last week the cast was complete: the 32 versions and 64-bit for Windows XP, Vista and 7, even in Portuguese.

The RSM is free and light the progress of infamous Windows Defender, which now account protection against viruses, spyware, rootkits and trojans. The final version should be launched still this year. More information, pictures and gives you some preliminary tests here.

The NeoWin, the download is restricted in the first 75 thousand people in the United States, Israel and, look, Brazil.
