Microsoft Windows is the most widely used Operating System on this planet. While we all have had some troubles and some grudges against some of the features, I think it would be reasonable to say that its overall a nice operating system. Perhaps not as *professional* or *official* as linux but is probably much more user-friendly than linux. (thanks Bill!!)

Magic 1: The Mystery of the Convicted Folder.

Ever tried to create a folder named CON in windows ? If you haven't tried it, try it now. It is very interesting to note that it is impossible to create a folder named CON in windows. Magic ?

Magic 2: The Secret of the Notepad

You would be surprised to know that the notepad has been *pragrammed* to hide *certain* kinds of information. For example

1. Open the notepad in windows

2. Type the line "bush hid the facts" without the quotes.

3. Save the file

4. Exit and then open the file again.

5. Surprise surprise !!!!

Magic 3: The Fox Connection

This is the mysterious encrypted message in windows word. To see the message:

1. Open a new document in Microsoft Word

2. type "=rand( 2 , 4)" without the quotes i.e. =rand( 2 , 4)

3. Press Enter and Voila!!!!

These are not faults in the operating system. These are some fun things put in windows by the developers when they were prorgamming windows.
