Hobbies… hobbies… hobbies… We have different hobbies in every facet of our life. As a teenager I have loved collecting stamps and stationeries. How I love to see them especially the different designs, prints and colors. My heart is still thumping upon thinking of the wonderful sight. While writing this I was thinking of collecting again but on the second thought I find no relevance of doing so again. I also love drawing, scrap booking and anything that has something to do with doodling. Now as a mother of a toddler I find no time to do the stuff I love doing as I guess you know that she will surely doodle with it too. Although sometimes I really find time to scrap book her photos. It is nice to see her milestones in a beautiful presentation. As a full time mom I have discovered a wonderful world in the internet and my recent favorite is HubPages. But I would rather not talk about it as I know that you already know how it works. For those who don’t why don’t you check it out, have a tour and sign up?

Other than surfing the net one more thing that I enjoyed doing these days is playing, exercising and having some fun with Nintendo Wii. I enjoy it as much as my daughter Sam does.

My Wii

The Wii is a home video game console released by Nintendo. As a seventh-generation console, the Wii primarily competes with Microsoft's Xbox360 and Sony's PlayStation3. Basically a Wii package includes a Sensor Bar, Wii Remote and the Wii Console. Now it depends on the Wii software or a certain game that you have if you’ll need any added accessories. The ones I have at home are Wii Play, Wii Sports and Wii Fit. For this you just need the Wii Remote, Nunchuck and the Wii Balance Board.

My Mii

The Mii represents you in the in the Wii World. You can choose a Mii or create one that is similar to your appearance. My Mii’s name is Sam and of course I have created it in my daughter’s likeness. You can create as many Miis as you want and place them in the Mii Plaza.

Wii Play

You will surely enjoy Wii Play with your children. It contains 9 games: Shooting Range, Fishing, Tanks, Laser Hockey, Table Tennis, Find Mii, Pose Mii, Billiards and Charge.

Wii Sports

Wii Sports lets you experience doing your favorite sports in the comfort of your own home and feel like you are actually playing it outside. I am not a sports buff but I get to enjoy the sports that I have never tried in my life and even enjoyed it with my 2 ½ year-old daughter. Imagine a little child playing Tennis, Baseball, Bowling, Golf and Boxing.

Wii Fit

The concept of Wii Fit is getting fit while you are enjoying it. The unique Wii Balance Board is used for a wide variety of fitness exercises that allow you to set your own goals and track your development. Wii fit has 4 training categories; the Yoga, Aerobic Exercises, Balance Games and Muscle Workouts. It contains over 40 different training activities from the basic Yoga poses to the uptight workouts and don’t forget the enjoyable Balance games and Aerobic Exercises such as Heading, Hula hoop, Ski and Snowboard Slalom, Jogging and many more.

Now that my long distance elderly parents are talking about Wii, I thought I better stop by and check your hub out so I can get the drift of what they are talking about.  My parents love the Wii Sport, specifically golf, they love for another way to get some exercise.  Last I heard they were having fun with Wii with their friends too!  Thanks for the Wii hub!

Thanks Philipo!

Hi Dottie! Haha really it's nice that they are enjoying it. I would assume that they are still in great shape and very fit; as this is not advisable for those who have some health problems especially heart ailments.

Haha If I don't have one, I probably wouldn't know about it as well. I don't think you are behind; maybe there are other things that interest you other than this. =)
