Building On A Budget
Now I have never bought a Mike Dillard product, but I sure have read sabout him and heard about him. Building On A Budget is a big time key word and that was Mike Dillard's baby. It was all about generating leads to yourself as I understand it.
Black Belt Recruiting
Now he has a course that teaches you what to say on the phone when you call all those leads. How can he be so good at both? It would seem to me that Dani Johnson has the market on answering objections, talking your mail man into helping you recruit, etc. And isn't that old school?
Yes, I know he promotes Mark Wieser in the sales video as the expert on the phone, but why doesn't the Mark promote himself? Who is Mark Wieser? I had never heard of him before this. It just doesn't seem to make sense. However, maybe I am missing something. So let me know in your comments what that might be. Tell me if any of you are going to buy this course that is being introduced in a few days. Maybe Mike Klingler will be promoting it too and then writing about it like he has Building On A Budget!
Traffic Secrets 2.0
You may know that I just recently bought a course from John Reese called Traffic Secrets. John's background is in helping people get more traffic on their web site, etc. So he is teaching what he knows.
Your Opinion Counts
Now I have nothing against Mike Dillard. Maybe his course is fantastic. You will all have to let me know. Should I buy it? If I don't will I lose out? Am I not seeing the light? I watched all three introductory videos. Well, I did nod of for a few minutes so maybe that was when I missed the whole key to this thing. I thought I heard them talk about how you had to call three hundred to a thousand leads per month to be successful in network marketing. And I think they mentioned a dialer. Are any of you folks out there using a dialer?
How Many Dials?
Do any of you make three hundred phone calls to your leads in a month? More? Now I know your all getting 10 to 30 leads a day using attraction marketing, right? You couldn't call all of them yourself. Do you hire people to call just like some people hire others to write content. Hey, maybe this is being written by someone hired by me.
Poor Quality Video
One more thing I would like to point out. The three videos promoting Black Belt Recruiting were very poor quality compared to the John Reese videos. They were almost as bad as my videos I made with my little Canon. I certainly hope Mike Dillard's actual course is better than the videos. Maybe Mike should buy John Reese's course and learn something more aboout video production. Once I receive Traffic Secrets 2.0 and get through it I know my videos will improve. Now you are confused just like me. Your starting to question everything. Good! That's how to make progress.
So someone tell me what Black Belt Recruiting is all about after you get the course and if it delivers. He says he guarantees that you sponsor at least 10 people per month if you buy the course. Not bad for a new Network Marketer. What say you all?
One more thing. Mark, in the first writing of this I spelled your name wrong and was taken to task for it so now I hpe it is correct. I mean "hope."

I can testify for all of Mike Dillard's products.
They do, indeed, deliver. Magnetic Sponsoring is the best place to begin if you're going to purchase any of his products. It ranks just ABOVE The Renegade Network Marketer in my opinion, as it covers all the same things (although Dillard wrote it about two years before Ann Sieg wrote her own).
Personally, I didn't think Building on a Budget was as helpful as the hype. Don't get me wrong, it was worth every penny. I got plenty of ideas and practical actions to take as a result after reading. I know you will agree with me when I say Renegade University offers much more value for anyone building a business on a budget.
I'm in the process of going thru MLM Traffic Formula now, and it is awesome. But it's a study and takes time.
As for Black Belt Recruiting, I've listened to all 6 of the CDs and read the writing supplement twice. Huge value. Some of the information will be obvious, but I consider it a definitive guide to recruiting and sponsoring. I found it helpful.
Even if you only gain one new idea, or implement one thing or make a change in some small way that results in bettering yourself and your business then I feel it is worth it. Black Belt Recruiting offers this and more.
Confusion? Where do I begin, you're writing a hub about a product or person you know nothing about. I didn't think the videos for Black Belt were bad quality. Mark Wieser is the man's name (you wrote "Weisner") who co-created Black Belt. He sponsored Dillard prior to his massive success, and taught him many valuable things -- most notably in the sponsoring/recruiting department.
If the number of opt-ins on my Black Belt Recruiting affiliate capture page is any indication of what other people think the product is worth, you are most definitely confused about Dillard.

Bill, I enjoyed your train of thought and agree on many points I too have been down that road!! I will be watching out for more of your articles.
I think that you missed the point - unlike Tracy Biller who teaches you to cold call other network marketers - or others like Dani Johnson who teach Old School Marketing - Mikes point is that after they have filled out the information on your lead capture page and have started receiving your automated e-mails - YOU ARE GOING TO HAVE TO CALL THEM if only to welcome them and answer any questions they may have. This is not a recruiting call - it is a "service" call.
I have read Dillard's building on a Building On A budget and wrote a tongue in cheek review of it. I also read Magnetic Sponsoring an I am considering writing about it also.
I do beleive both books are an attempt to get into your head and get you to purchase his more expensive course ($1,000). I did find a few gems in each of the books so I don't consider the reading a total waste of time.
I Did enjoy your article. You gave me a couple of points to ponder over.
Good article. I just bought the course so I will update any who care to know what I think once it has arrived. Thought it would be a great "add-on" to the valuable training Renegade University about building leads.

Yes, I have bought the course now as well and I have written an "apology" to Mike Dillard iin another Hub. In fact I sell the course. At first I was a little confused about his level of "expertise" in the area. But he is the real deal.
I liked that fact that he guarantees that you sponsor ten new people per month. At least that is what he does in the ads. When you get the course it qualifies that by saying it is his "opinion" but he isn't really saying you will do 10 per month. I still like the guarantee and will hold him to it.
I think the John Reese course will be very good. I have ordered it but it has not arrived as yet. It is about Traffic generation so it is a different subject than Mike's course. It should be four times as good because it cost four times as much. I sell it too. Hey, we all sell everything or we should.
