Building a relationship with the people on your list is critical. The number of people on your list is not important. What is important is the number of people on your list that actually listen to you, take your advice and respond to your calls to action. This is dependent on the quality of your list and is determined by how you nurture it by providing value. You provide value by sending them emails that provide valuable information and tips to help them move their businesses forward. Think give without want before you can get. People buy from people they know, like and trust and you nurture this by helping them and providing them with what they want and need. And if you do this, you will be a leader in their eyes.

Marketing to your list by setting up an email series autoresponder.  These emails teach people something or inform them of your offers.  You can set up this email series to go out each day for an entire year, systematically generating sales and income to you.

Developing your business this way provides you the ultimate security with an asset that can't be taken from you.  Even if your hosting company or autoresponder company went down your business can keep moving if you are properly backed up.  Even if your MLM company closed its doors or took your business away from you (because you were making too much money), because you own your list, you could be up and running again as soon as you found a MLM company you liked and you emailed or tweeted your list.
