In case you don't know Miley Cyrus and Hannah Montana are one in the same. Her real name is Destiny Hope Cyrus and she is the daughter of Country Music Star, Billy Ray Cyrus. She was born November 23 1992.

She started playing Hannah Montana for Disney in 2006 and became one of the most popular teen girl stars in the world. Miley Cyrus was 12 years old when she originally auditioned for Disney and the role of Hannah Montana but Disney thought she was to small. But Miley and her father were persistent and finally Disney gave in and hired Miley Cyrus. In June of 2009 Miley Cyrus announced that the fourth season will be the last year that she plays the role of Hannah Montana. Her dad Billy Ray Cyrus currently plays her Dad on the Disney TV Show Hannah Montana.

Miley Cyrus Vanity Fair Topless Photos

On April 25th 2008 Entertainment Tonight announced that Miley Cyrus had posed topless for Vanity Fair Magazine. And though she is topless in the photo shoot the strategically placed bed sheet keeps you from seeing anything.

However lots of Miley's fans and Disney were highly upset at the photos and many people say those photos are one of the main reasons Miley has decided that the fourth season of Hannah Montana will be her last. Disney says that have no plans to try to get her to do a fifth season.

Earlier in her career photos she had shot for her boyfriend were leaked onto the internet so posing for Vanity Fair was the final straw for Disney. Had she not announced there would not be a season 5 Disney may have indeed fired her. Her father Billy Ray Cyrus says that he supports what ever decisions Miley makes about her career and he feels she probably does need to move on away from the restrictive Disney and on to other bigger and better things. Miley is now recording Country Music songs and she recently released several country songs.
