They added sugar to this product. I'm not sure I would like for my dog to eat sugar.

Glenn,
I know you won't believe me...but try taking the corn out of the diet. I think you will see a vast improvement.
I know of a great treat. The investment is kinda high at first but it sure worth a try. Buy a dehydrater or use your oven on it's lowest setting. You can cut chicken into strips. You may buy stew meat or cut your own beef into bite size pieces.
Does that help any?

Dear Susan,
I have been at a dilima, seems my dog Jordan is allergic to most everything. He had a "Hot Spot" on his back and tail. It has taken time and expensive allergy testing to determine his problems. He has worn a cone and taken meds for the last six months to detour his biting and scratching himself. He is bathed once a week, flea solution is applied, dandruff shampoo, dog conditioner and A & D lotion has been applied to assist healing. Well the conclusion is - he is allergic to rye grass, milk products, wheat and rye products, beef, pork, lamb, So I have been searching for food products without wheat or flower. He has always turned I now feed him only fish and chicken products with rice. I have found that Milk-Bone Chewy Treats Chicken Drumsticks are a great help to keep him from scratching, chewing and biting himself. If he knows he will get a treat he refrains from attacking himself. The sugar in the product is the least of my problems, he gets no other sugar and this chewy Treats seem to be working wonders. At this point his chewing may be habitual, not sure, only Pavlov knows.
I for one say hooray for these treats ! Should you know of any other dog food that is only fish or chicken with rice base I would cherish the thought of you for life.
Thanks,
Glenn Seltzer, Orange CA
