I want to tell you a story. Located in Shelby N.C. is the Women and Childrens Shelter and most mornings the children in the shelter have no milk. I see all the ads on late night tv for people to send money over seas for hungry children but I see very few ads if any for the children here in the USA. You know I remember my Grandmother saying Charity begins at home. And you know what the children in the shelter are all Americans. And as American's we need to help if at all possible. We should not have one child in this country with out milk.

Once money comes in we will make a video of the money , the gallons of milk it purchases and the milk being delivered to the shelter. Yes you'll see video evidence that the money is really going exactly where it should.

So can you help us out with milk for the children. We hope so. And we hope you will tell everyone you know about , Milk For The Children. I have always been interested in trying to help people and this is one cause that really needs help. So be sure to tell everyone you know about this project.

Yes even one hungry child is one to many and unfortunately tonight in NC approximately 32.000 children will go to bed hungry. But yet the politicians talk about it very little. Don't you wonder why. I think it should be the number one issue that any politician should talk about. As long as we have one hungry child here in the USA not one dime should go overseas.In the last few days I have seen children laugh with happiness at the site of a banana and young men almost cry over a few bags of potato chips. How can we send money over seas when we have hungry people here in the USA. Our fellow Americans are hungry and homeless and very little is being done to help. Why? Do you know that one of the fastest growing segments of the homeless population is children.

If you have a local shelter in your town call and ask about the milk situation there and consider buying a few gallons of milk and take it to the children there. They probably need it to. Many Americans profess to be Christians but what are they exactly. Have you read the words found in Matthew 25 31-46. Have you ever heard your preacher preach those words.

Church is not a social club. Churches should instead be doing social work. Attempting to see that all American children have milk and that the homeless have homes. At least that's what Jesus seems to be saying there in Matthew 25 31-46.

Social Justice should be the concern of each and every American. We need to be Americans again and stand up for the rights of all Americans. We need to demand that politicians address the real serious issues that effect each and every one of us and not worry about the petty issues that political parties try to distract us with. Go to a local political rally and ask the politician making a speech , What about the children with out milk at the local shelters? What about Homeless People? What are your plans to end hunger in America? I guarantee you the room will get real quite real quick.

America today is a far different place than it once was. People used to really care about their fellow man and what was going on in their neighborhood. But today few people seem to care anymore. Christians dress up in their finest clothes and go to church on Sunday and set there and watch the clock until they can rush off to the all you can eat buffet. Fancy clothes and going to church every Sunday does not make a Christian. Trying to live up to those words in Matthew 25 31-46 would make you a fine Christian. If your a Christian ask yourself this very simple question. What would Jesus do? Now thats a serious question. And if your not a Christian are you a American. Are you trying to help your fellow Americans.When have you been down to your local shelter. Do the children there have milk and do you really care. Well I guess thats about all.
