It's time to begin a Mindful Meditation...you've got some time on your hands, it's a wonderful day. Where do you go within a 25 mile radius of your home to begin your journey into Mindful Meditation?
You have some free time. It's a wonderful day. You have a car. You have some fuel/petrol/gas in the tank. Let's begin a journey, let's start a MIndful Meditation.

Why choosing the environment is crucial to meditation success
Choosing the perfect environment for your Mindful Meditation is crucial. You want a Meditation that works right? So follow these simple steps:
1) When your there...be there. Switch off the mobile phone, divert calls to answer phone. Look around you, are you likely to be interupted? Choose a location where you can relax away from people, dogs and children. Safety: Do people know where you are going? Tell someone where you will be.
Getting comfortable for the perfect Mindful Meditation
2) Now get comfy, do you have a meditation cushion? Do you have a guided meditation cd? Do you have your headphones? Assess your posture, are you relaxed? Are you supported?
Once your there...staying there
3) Stay relaxed, keep checking in with yourself, be aware of your posture, your breathing, your mind (is it racing?) relax, take a deep breath, breathe into the belly. If you find yourself and your mind wandering, it's ok, relax and bring your attention back to your breathing and your third eye.
How to choose the best place for your mindful meditation.
Let's be clear, you can meditate in most places, but in my experience (16 years) you want a quiet place. You want to be free from distractions.
1) Begin with the end in mind, where do you want to wake up (come to) when you awake? Woods, Beach, Meadow, River, Lake?
2) Do a google search, revisit your childhood haunts, where are the local beauty spots? Are they too crowded? Seek out a quiet beach/Cove. Search google for Meditation spots, places to meditate.
