From Mindfulness to You

There no doubts how important mindfulness is to meditation as too to other forms of spirituality. Without a mind that is able to remain focused in the present it would be hard to achieve spiritual freedom while on the other hand only a mind that is attuned to the present will be able to achieve greater depth of spiritual understanding. This means that to profit from Mindfulness Meditation it is necessary that we achieve a stable mind and also a mind that is calm which are the two factors that can help ensure success with your meditation efforts.

Too Busy To Pause And Reflect

Most people will realize that after succeeding with something that their minds become very calm and the entire being is in harmony with all its constituent parts. However, when we are so busy with our lives that we do not have time to pause and reflect it leads to a mind that is constantly troubled and more or less in a non-normal state of being.

Mindfulness Meditation should be practiced effectively and in order to do so it is necessary to create the right kind of conditions that will then promote meditation and not hamper it. This means that even a simple thing such as having enough space in which to practice Mindfulness Meditation can prove to be advantageous while a place that is cramped and where you can easily be disturbed will hamper your practice of Mindfulness Meditation.

There are other factors too that can affect your mindfulness meditation and these include your posture and method of breathing. Maintaining the right posture and applying the correct breathing techniques can play a vital part in the success of your Mindfulness Meditation. Success in turn will ensure that you become more aware of your innermost thoughts and this can only help you go through life in a calm and collected manner instead of rushing through life almost thoughtlessly.

The entire process of Mindfulness Meditation requires that you learn to discover things; especially the truth because then you will be more attuned with reality and closer to the universe. Before beginning the Mindfulness Meditation process you must learn to increase your awareness of how quickly (and, perhaps mindlessly) you normally think. This awareness can help you learn how to harness your thoughts better and so will lead to realizing the truth and acting in a more honest manner.

Don’t Do Nothing, Practice Mindfulness Meditation Instead

Mindfulness Meditation is free to practice and it is also very simple and so there is hardly any reason why you too should not practice it. It would in any case be better than lazing about and doing nothing.

I'm a big fan of meditation although I don't do it as often as I should. It's so nice to quiet the mind and just relax and be in the *now*. It's true that practicing mindful meditation is better than lazing about and doing nothing! :)

You are so right Aqua. Practicing meditation is way better than doing nothing. In fact, it's like comparing apples to oranges. Don't you think :-) What can be accomplished with serious meditation is astounding.
