Mini Dehumidifiers – One step closer to an allergy-free home

Everyone has allergies. It may come in the form of allergy from dust, sand, pollen, heat, humid air, germs, rust, etc. More or less, the effects of these allergies are minor, yet irritating. They never seem to cease. That is because, most of the time, these allergens are in the air we breathe. That is why we need to have air purifiers, or if you are cutting on space, mini dehumidifiers. These clean and dehumidify the air that goes into our lungs.

Both air purifiers and mini dehumidifiers are nifty inexpensive items that are really effective. My family and I are supporters and users of both as we have, all in all, three pieces of the gadgets, when combined. They have different purposed. Mini dehumidifiers, first and foremost, dehumidify the air around us. 

Now, you may think, “What’s wrong with humid air?”

The problem has to do with the positive and negative ions in the air. Positive Ions, if you do not know, have negative effects in our breathing. They are especially dangerous, although not really lethal, to asthmatic people. These positive Ions make breathing a lot more difficult because it reduces our capability of taking in oxygen. Now, humid air, the culprit, depletes negative ions in the air. These negative ions, which have the possible effect of relieving allergies from hay fever, bronchial asthma, and other respiratory problems, are more and more depleted as the air becomes more humid.

Humid air also makes us feel hotter temperature than it actually is. This is because of the evaporation and the water particles that are suspended in the air. The positive ions then cling, for a lack of a better word, to the water particles and affect our, and more especially the asthmatic person’s, breathing. Also, the more water particles in the air, the less that oxygen particles are able to fill the air.

Humid Air can also cause the appearance of molds in particular places in one’s house. These carry allergens that may make people, who are allergic to these allergens, breathe much harder. More than average humidity can also attract insects that may increase any existing health risks.

That is what is wrong with humid air.

Why do you need a mini dehumidifier?

One obvious reason is to decrease the level of humidity in your home, the one place where you should feel the most secured, for your kids and your wife/husband. The home should be the place where your family is safe from any health and life risks. That is why it is your duty to make sure that they get the healthy living environment that they deserve.

Why Mini? Well, these are more or less much much cheaper than the bigger versions of dehumidifiers. You get less humid air for a much cheaper price. This feature makes it possible for you to bring it to any place in the house.

A mini humidifier answers some of the health risk problems in your house. It also answers the problem of buying expensive and big dehumidifiers.
