Mini envelopes are used for used for all sorts of things. They are great for party favors and can be used for protecting business cards. They are also good for putting money or coins in if you are planning on giving it to someone, for privacy reasons. They are also used to put pills in, which is why they are sometimes referred to as drug envelopes. If you are having a wedding and are having a hard time finding affordable favors, you might consider using mini envelopes. Mini glassine envelopes are also popular for this use. They are great because not only are they cute but they also come in a huge variety of colors and styles. There are also some very gorgeous high class looking mini envelopes that come in all sorts of beautiful patterns that would be great for this usage. You could even dress them up a little bit with a ribbon and a sticker with you and your honey’s name on it.

What to Put Inside Mini Envelopes for Wedding Favors

  • You could use mini envelopes to put seeds in. This has actually become quite popular these days. Some people will put a mixture of wildflower seeds from the places they are from to symbolize their union.
  • You could have a custom stamp created that has both of your names on it, which doesn’t cost that much, and use this to stamp the mini envelopes. Then you could put some candy inside.
  • Mini envelopes are popular to use as a rice holder to throw at the end of the wedding.
  • Some people choose to use them to hold a place card that is at the tables they will be sitting at.
  • You could put a personal message on a card for each of your guests.
  • You could put a photograph of you and your new husband inside of them.
  • You could use them to hold a lottery ticket.

Other Uses for Mini Envelopes

You could also make your own mini envelopes. You can so this by using a mini envelope template, or you could buy a mini envelope punch that is a hole punch that is shaped like the mini envelope before you do the folding. You can easily find these giant hole punches at your local hobby store.  It would also be good to make them out of anything that you would like to recycle. Magazines are great for this. They are not hard to make. You could also just order the envelopes, which I suggest doing if you need a large quantity because it probably just won’t be worth your time to create a huge amount of these by hand.

You could also use mini envelopes for an art piece. They would add an interesting element. You could even add interactivity by putting messages into the envelopes. The envelopes would also be good to use for scrapbooking.

It is nice to have mini envelopes on hand because you can use them for small thank you cards or small gifts. They would be good for dressing up a lottery ticket. Lots of people like to give different tickets like this out as favors and they make them a bit more special. You could use them to decorate a bulletin board. They are great for gift tags.
