All about Miniature Gaming

In this article, I share about miniature tabletop gaming. There are many different types of games that you can play. This gives a broad look at many different games like warhammer, mechwarrior, battletech, and more.

In here you will be able to browse many sites including Wizkids Games, Games Workshop and Reaper, all producers of many of the most popular collectable miniature games.

Mechwarrior Combat

Here is an introduction to Mechwarrior by Wizkids Games, the company made famous by their Heroclix game system. Mechwarrior goes back a long way to a game called Battlech.

Part 2 of the series deals with starting to play the game. We explore getting figures together, building an army, setting up a playing field and your first turn at combat.

Part 3 goes into depth about customizing your mech's. You can take a look in here about all the options you have. Although you should go get your own stuff to play around with.

Terrain!!!!

Miniature games are usually played on a tabletop. Most of these games need some kind of land or map to play them on. These landscapes impact what you can do in a game and add to your strategy. In how to build miniature gaming terrain you will find simple instruction of how to build your own 3D miniature terrain pieces to enhance your tabletop gaming experiences.

Star Wars

Star Wars has a variety of miniatures games being played. This article covers specifically Star Wars Pocket Models by Wizkids Games.

Wizkids seems to have cornered the simplist corner of miniature gaming. They make their pieces inexpensive to buy and collect. They use simple rules to play games too. Short order phases and minimal orders make for a fast paced game that doesnt use all of your brain power to play along.
