Miracle or Magic
54I have written before that Magick falls into two broad categories, mundane and special. The mundane is common place these days and go by many new names such as; pharmacology, medicine, technology, metallurgy, herbology, and even physics or science. The special kind also has new names. Some of the new names for the special sort of Magick may even be names used in the distant past, simply revealed in today's times. Names like Telekinesis, Telepathy, Remote Viewing, Far Seeing, Tran configuration, and even Tran's mutation.
Very often Churches and church groups attempt to link Magick to demon worship or Satanism. Strange how some of these same actions when performed by a religious figure are called miracles instead of Magick. This is one way religious groups seek to maintain their followers. By condemning Magick and glorifying Miracles they attempt to make people think only those "graced by God" can perform miracles where as heretics and heathens perform the "evil" of magic in opposition of God's work.
Let us consider for a moment some well-known "Miracles" to see if the must only be miracles or could they be Magick. Probably one of the most well known "Miracles" is Moses' parting of the Red Sea. The parting of any large body of water could also fall into the field of Telekinesis. It would fall into the same category of someone being able to lift or move a rock or some other object. Granted the parting of such a large body of water would be Telekinetic ability of such enormous strength as to be nearly unfathomable, but there are legends fables and myths other such "miracles". Of course these other myths and fables couldn't possibly be true but a "miracle" just has to be true.
Another well known "miracle" is where Jesus appeared to raise Lazarus from the dead. If you read the account if this incident you will note that Jesus stated, "He isn't dead only sleeping" after which he laid hands on Lazarus and told him to awake and come out. It is entirely possible that Lazarus was in a coma and that Jesus used a method of energy transfer like Reiki or some other "Lying on of Hands" currently being studied by scientist today. So, Miracle or Magick?
I am not saying that Miracles don't happen, quite the opposite in fact. I am saying what you call miracle could also be called Magick. Just something to consider when you read of miracles or Magick. Just try to keep an open mind and an eye on the sources that names them miracle or Magick. After all the birth of a child is both a miracle and scientifically understood. Understanding the science or magick of an event doesn't make it any less miraculous. Just as calling and action magick doesn't make it evil.
It was once written that a Wizard or other Magick user's greatest source of power lies in their ability to retain a child's sense of wonder throughout life, and to maintain a keen interest in dozens of fields of study. This simply means to keep an open mind and a desire to learn as many truths as possible. The greatest thing about children is their thirst for learning. To often this thirst is lost as we close our minds and move into adulthood.

Hi Light Path,
This is a very interesting subject indeed. I just would like to point out that the magicians of Pharaoh's court thought that Moses and Aaron were simply poor magicians in themselves. It is recorded in the book of Exodus however, that after the third display of "magic" or the plague of lice, they too acknowledged that "this is the finger of God." The first plague they could duplicate (on a smaller scale), the second plague they could make more frogs, but could not take them away (Moses under the direction of God got rid of the pesky critters), and by number three they were out of the competition all together. I doubt they even would have considered the parting of the Red Sea.. they begged out several "wonders" ago.
This is extremely refreshing, i have been verbally assalted because I have made people stop and think of their own abilities. although the only majicks that i use is the ability to stop and smell the roses. Keep up with the knowledge and you have a forever supporter.

A strong practioner of magick is able to perform such actions the those of lessor tallents can only dream of. Wether Moses was a very gifted Magick user or whether his demonstrations were from god and rightfully miracales is not for me to say. I wasn't there and didn't know the man personally. My point is it could go either way, but churches ofcourse only teach it as a miracle...
Buggzy,
Thanks for your comment. To few people will open their minds to seek truth. Most only beleive what they are told to bleive. I tip my top hat to anyone that questions everything in order to find for themselves what is trut and what is taught for alterier motives ...usually to control the thoughts of people
Decrescendo.
