Mireille Guiliano is best known as the internationally best-selling author of the smash success French Women Don't Get Fat: The Secret of Eating for Pleasure. What many people do not realize, however, is that before becoming a top author she was the spokesperson for Champagne Veuve Clicquot and a senior executive at LVMH as well as CEO of Clicquot, Inc., the US firm she helped found in 1984.

In her over 20 years as spokesperson for Champagne Veuve Clicquot, Mireille became one of the few women to reach the top echelon of the wine and spirits as well as luxury goods industries. Ms. Guiliano was responsible for drafting the marketing plan and Champagne Veuve Clicquot’s image grew under Mireille’s guidance, as the company experienced almost unheard of consistent double-digit growth in its American markets. Specifically, Veuve Clicquot's market share in the United States grew from less than 1% to more than 23% of market share. Today, her trademark strategic approach to positioning and growing ultra-premium brands is a go-to in the industry. Mireille’s many achievements in the business world have led to her being called a trendsetter and role model for women. Mireille belongs to the “Committee of 200” and works to promote business opportunities and education for women.
