The Miscellaneous and everything else section of the directory has random sub-categories such as other web directories, auctions, and classifieds. There are not many sub-categories in the miscellaneous category (only eight) but they are just as important. These do not really fit into the other categories so that is why they are in the miscellaneous. The most popular sub-category is the blogs but the second is web directories and then resources.

This part is probably the most interesting part of a directory because you never know what kind of site you will find in the miscellaneous section. The most interesting part is the blog part because you never know what you are going to find in blogs, especially the personal blogs! In the web directories section, in miscellaneous, is where you submit your directories to directories! Some directories that are free do not accept other directories that charge money for links because that is a little bit rude. So if your directory cost money, no matter how much it is, don’t submit it to free directories. But other than that, you should submit to as many directories as possible.

So if you have a unique and random site, submit to directories in the miscellaneous directory. It will help your site in search engines and it will get your site out there, so people can see it! You can also just go to directories to find cool sites. They are all in one place and easy to find what you like, if people submit them to the correct category.
