Vietnam is all set to host the Miss Universe Contest 2008. Some preliminary rounds have already been completed and the final show down would be held at the Diamond Bay Resort, Khanh Hoa province, Nha Trang city, with a nine-minute clip about Vietnam that will be televised live and on NBC channel for 2 hours beginning at 9 AM on 14th July 2008. It will be watched by over 13 million viewers in the United States and by more than 1 billion viewers over 170 countries and territories, including Vietnam with its population of over 80 millions people.

This is a golden opportunity for Vietnam to advertise its people and the tourism to the world.
