Missing Children
66Missing Children
The Madaleine McCann story has touched the hearts of people the world over, she is in all of our thoughts and prayers and we all wait eagerly hoping for the news that she is alive and well.
I am a father of two boys and one girl and I cannot begin to imagine the thoughts going through Madeleine's parents heads or how they are feeling.
Although we must continue to be vigilant in the hunt for Madeleine, we must not forget the thousands of other children who have disappeared from all over the globe, whose parents are going through the same thing.
It would be impossible to cover every one of those children on a hubpage, considering the fact that over 800 children disappeared last year in the UK alone.
We can all do our bit though and it is as easy as creating a hub here on hubpages.
First of all do a search on the internet for missing children in your area, secondly create a hub featuring one or two of the children you find there, third add a link to the site where you found out about the missing children.
It doesn't have to be hubpages, you could use your blog, website or even your profile on a site that you use regularly, email it to your friends and get them to email it to their friends. The Internet is a powerful tool and if one child was found alive and well through these methods, then you could feel proud that you did your part in finding that child.MARIO BORJA-VALENCIA

You are doing such good work, advertising missing children. I also have children and grandchildren, and never ever want to be in a situation such as this. And lets face it, it can happen to anyone. Hopefully you will soon be able to give us the good news about little Madeleine.
