Mitt Romney is the only presidential candidate to develop and implement a healthcare plan that is effectively providing health insurance to citizens of Massachusetts. But Mitt is still taking heat from other presidential candidates who feel they need to attack the healthcare plan in some way. Mitt's plan requires that all residents sign up by today or else they will face a tax penalty. Some of the candidate picked at the deadline requirement while other chose to single out the mandate as the downfall.

Mitt doesn't seem to be effected by the candidate's comments. He is confident and happy with the outcome of the plan he has implemented in Massachusetts. Mitt's law was developed to reduce the amount of uninsured citizens in Massachusetts. All citizens are required to obtain healthcare coverage from their employer or through government sponsored programs. The program has increased the number of insured residents by 200,000. Although this seems to work, Mitt is not using an identical blueprint for his presidential campaign. The new design steers clear of mandate and would give the states freedom to devise their own plans.
