They join your business because they are so desperate to make money they will try anything. They join your business because they "think" you will build it for them.

Selling your mlm business is the easy part, getting your downline to produce is the hard part. You will want to teach your downline the power of relationship building, after all didn't you get that person into your business because of who you are?

Social networks provide a place where they can add their profile make friends and work on developing business relationships. In a social network the focus is not on a business opportunity the focus is on building friendships. These friendships many times can turn into business associates.

Just telling someone to take their link and ad and go advertise is a sure way to lose that person in your downline. Often it takes thousands of views before you actually get a sign up to your business. Often times people are happy to answer questions and be helpful in social networks. By telling your new downline member that they should join a social network you are introducing that person to the world of social networking and you are giving them the chance to learn how to develop relationships online. This skill is a must for success on the internet.

All social networks allow you to put up a profile page, it is this page that you will want to concentrate much of your effort on. Don't make the mistake of simply talking about how great "your" business opportunity is, talk about how great you are. Don't just add links to your mlm opportunity, add links to your personal website or blogs. Let your reader and potential friend learn more about you.
