Design

As a gamer, we are also conscious on the aesthetic part of the phone. Amazingly, Sony Ericsson passed my taste for designs. I like the way the Sony Ericsson F305 looks. Its slim, just 96 x 47 x 14.6 mm in size and only weighs 97.5 grams, and its also a slider phone which maximizes space. Because of its slim size and light weight, the phone is very easy to hold and keep in your pocket. It also feels a bit fragile as it's too light, but you'll get used to it fast.

Screen

Being slider designed, the phone naturally has large screen. Very nice for displaying games. The screen is an 2 inch 262k TFT Color Screen in 176 x 220 pixels resolution, displays clear images and vibrant colors. The user interface is very easy to navigate and they look good too!

Keypads

Not only is it easy to type messages and navigate the menus, it is also easy to play games because of its dedicated gaming keys. Instead of using the keypads all the time, the F305 has 2 dedicated gaming keys just below the screen. They are ergonomic and goes with the design too. The keypads by the way are also easy to use, they have a nice feel, easy to press and responsive.

Messaging

Given the good looking keypads, it's really comfortable to send messages using Sony Ericsson F305 too as it has the all the basic messaging capability a phone should have. It can do SMS (Text Messaging) and MMS (Multimedia Messaging). It also has a predictive text functionality which is most preferred by busy texters. You can send and receive Emails easily too!

Calling

The phone is also an excellent tool for calling. It has Quad Band network connectivity, utilizing four frequencies in GSM 850, GSM 900, GSM 1800 and GSM 1900. This means the phone is great for roaming allowing you to have great connectivity even in between countries. Receiving signals on the F305 no matter where you go are relatively high, but it really depends on the network provider.

Music

Though the F305 is more on gaming, it still gives us good enough features for listening to music. It's got a nice music player that is able to output decent audio. The phone has got loud speakers. Its got FM Radio RDS if ever you want to listen to news or new songs. You can put Mp3 and AAC tones as your ringtones. Its got Bluetooth Stereo support, so plug those wireless headsets and hear better sound quality. You can watch videos loaded from the memory card or through video streaming.
Camera

Camera features isn't the F305's specialty and the camera is not that good but good enough to use it occasionally. It has 2 Megapixel camera and has 2.5 Digital Zoom. Good enough for taking shots at most important moments. If you're a blogger, you can definitely take advantage of its Picture Blooging feature. This allows you to take pictures then upload it fast on your blogger account.

Memory

The Sony Ericsson F305 only has 10MB memory space. Not enough you say? Then add in a Memory Stick Micro (M2) if want more memory space to put in your favorite songs or more saving space for pictures, videos and games. Indeed it has a low basic memory but its got a lot of pre-installed games that you can already enjoy.

The phone has a long lasting battery to power these games, it can last up to 8 hours of Talk Time and 700 Hours Standby. Very nice battery power.
