Have you ever made a model?  It's quite a difficult challenge, but can become a very rewarding hobby.  I remember as a kid making both model planes and model cars, and I was fascinated by the experience.  My dad was excellent at it and had the magic touch.  I was just hoping not to mess anything up with my shaky hands.  But at the end of the day (or week), when a model is finished, it is an awesome accomplishment!  

Some of my favorite brands for model making are Atlas model trains and AMT model cars.  Both can give hours of excitement and entertainment.  If you are looking for a hobby that has a huge community and can get you excited, then maybe model making is for you.  Try it out and see if you like it!
