3. Don't get all of your links from Social Bookmarking; maximum of 20%, the large majority of your links should be website links.
4. Vary the Page Rank of your acquired links.
5. Don't go out and get a whole boat load of links when you first put your site up, this will be a red flag, there are plenty of places to do this, Don't Do It!!!!!
6. Be wary of freelancers who build links, they only want to get paid and they do not care about your future success, or for that matter; if you even have a future. I know this from bad experience. Use them with caution and only with independent cu dos.

How to Get Valuable Website Links for Link Popularity

• Write & submit website articles to Article Directories; webmasters like yourself use these for content and when they do you get a free one way link back to your site. You can also use ghostwriters to do the articles for you but you must understand the quality may not be as good as you would have produced. Use an Article Spinner like Unique Article Writer to produce many versions of your article for submissions. You cannot submit the same article, but you can submit as many versions as you like. This should be your #1 method of gaining links. It will produce links that have good mojo with Google.
• Use Manual directory submission to submit to website directories, do not give them a reciprocal link, most have the option of a free listing with no reciprocal link, (Remember) not thousands, I reccomend 25 max per day. If you use a service make sure they are using manual techniques and submitting over time.
• Use Social Bookmarking to gain Website Links; the same as directories the submission must be slow and manually done.
• Use your head, don't use black hat methods that will help you now but hurt you for a long time to come.

I will recommend an individual and a process called the Link Building Blueprint, I am currently using this process and having a considerable amount of success with it. The creator is Deon Du Plessis. Of coarse you must know he is an affiliate marketer like many of us and his process will recommend some products that cost money. Build you site link popularity is not a plug and play thing, but it is of paramount importance. The methods I will reccoment will take some time, but can pay off big. Most people have probably already heard that you can get links from commenting and I do recommend this highly, and you can even contract out commenting for links. Find sites that allow comments and have a "do follow" for links, these are more valuable, but it is generally reccomended to aquire some no follow links as well, this makes your link building look natural.
