Tonight, contestants from 24 countries took part in the Final of the 2007 Eurovision Song Contest, hosted by Finnish national public broadcaster YLE. Thursday night, representatives from 10 countries qualified themselves for tonight's Final. Germany, Spain, the United Kingdom and France were automatically qualified for the Final, as their respective national public broadcasters are the most important funding partners for the contest. Last year's top-10 also qualified for tonight's Final.
The show was again hosted by Jaana PELKONEN and Mikko LEPPILAMPI. It's their honourable job to welcome some 100 million viewers.
The scoreboard with the complete Semi-Final results will only be revealed after the Final, to make the Final as exciting as possible.
After one of the most exciting votings ever, Serbia won the 2007 Eurovision Song Contest with the song Molitva. Marija SERIFOVIC received 268 points! The winning song was written by Sasa MILOSEVIC MARE and composed by Vladimir GRAIC Congratulations!
The atmosphere inside a Eurovision Song Contest venue has probably never been so hot as tonight here in Helsinki! Thousands of fans cheered for their favourite entries at the Helsinki Arena, while hundreds of fans and journalists watched the contest at the Press Centre.
BBC was lucky enought to make an exclusive interview with the favourite, Marija Serifovic.

I'm so happy that at last a SONG has won in the SONG contest, but not a SHOW!
She sings really passionately and puts a lot into all her songs. I liked Molitva and I have the serbian and english lyrics and I'm glad Molitva won. Finland last yr were just f***ing crap.
