2 FUDGE RECIPES

Easy Easy Fudge

1 lb. confectioner's sugar

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup cocoa

1/2 Tbs vanilla

6 Tbs margarine

1 cup chopped nuts

Combine all ingredients (except the nuts) in the top of

a double boiler. With water at a simmer in the bottom

pan, place the pan with the fudge mixture over the water

and stir until the margarine has melted and the mixture

is smooth. When it is, add the chopped nuts and mix well.

Then pour it into a buttered loaf pan and spread it smoothly.

Cool for at least three hours.

JINGLE BELL FUDGE

2 cups sugar

2/3 cup water

1/3 cup cocoa

2 Tbs. butter

Place all ingredients in a heavy saucepan and stir until smooth.

On medium high heat, bring to a boil, stirring often. Once it is

boiling, stir continuously intil it reaches 234 degrees or until a

few drops into a glass of cold water forms a soft ball.

Pour into buttered loaf pan.

Cool for 4 hours.
