Teach your kids about money management. Advice your kids and teens about how to manage their money from the early age. Make a money-savvy teen.

Your kids are the most valuable assets to you in this world other than anything. You don’t want to through them in the center of the crucial financial situation of life. Teach your kids and teens about money management from the early age. The earlier you can teach kids about money, budget, save, credit card and paying it, the better they will be prepared for the upcoming adult life.

Kids love to learn about anything, especially when they can have some to help with the lesson. Here are some money management tips and advices for parents.

>1. Explain your kids about where the family income comes from, who earns, what amount and what they do to earn this money. Where this family money income goes? How much family expenses per month? Explore in front of them what are other ways of earning money, that can be buying-selling or running a business. Give some knowledge about taxes and explain them that taxes are deducted before the income is received.

>2. Include kids with the family budget. Prepare your family budget in front of the kids. Teach them how to allocate money to the various items of budget. Teach them about the difference between needs and wants. Explain kids that the family has to survive with the help of the monthly certain income. The income is limited and our expense should be limited. There is no chance of spending extra money.

>3. Make your kids responsible for their spending. Start with helping the family daily activities. Give them the opportunity to buy their own sweets, toys, and their own school lunch.

If kids are above the age 10 than permit them buy their school supplies, pet's food etc.

if kids are at age 15-16 give them to buy clothes and other essentials.

>4. Teach them how to save and why should they save. Start with introducing them with the family savings. Explain kids that today’s savings will help the family spend in the future may be for a holiday trip or for an emergency purposes. Give them a jar or a piggy bank where they can save some penny regularly.

In giving kids allowances or earnings give coins, for example give five dollar coins instead of a 5-dollar bill, and suggest that one of them to save.

>5. While teaching your kids about money management, be sure to talk about credit cards. How credit cards work and the appropriate use of them.

Disclose every detail about credit cards and their marketing techniques that will come their way.

Don’t forget to explain the bad side and disadvantages of credit cards.



There are lots of other ways by how you can teach your kids about money management. Teach your kids any of them as properly as possible to make them prepared for their upcoming financial life. Take care of your loving kids.
