More About Hubpage Tags and Search Engine Optimization

Hubpage tags are relevant to your hubpage article. That means that the tags are selected from your article with the hubpage tool. You are given the option to add your own tags but the tags must be relevant to your article.

Tags are not keywords but can very well coincide with the Google Keyword Tool as a keyword. However, the Google Adsense selection of the tag as a keyword would be coincidental because the selection was made from your written hubpages article. The Hubpage Tool automatically selects relevant terms from the hubpage article to place delineated on the right side of the hubpage article. There are tiny "x's" that allow you to disagree with the tool and to "x" out the tag word that you do not want to have listed.

The "x" out tool is very helpful if you are flagged for having too many tag words. Use the "x" out tool if you receive this flag. On the other hand, you can manually add tag words, however, the words must be relevant andĀ  from the hubpage article.

To understand the tags or tag words, you need to understand assigning subtopics to a main topic. The tags are tiny subtopics of words from your text. The tagging is automatically done or you canĀ  choose to add tag words. Remember that you have to select relevant tags words or tiny subtopics from the hubpage article. The tag words gives the reader a bird's eye view as a microscoism of what is contained in the hubpage article's bigger picture.

Do not confuse keywords with tag words, the former of which can be expensive. Keywords and key phrases are so valuable to search engine optimization that there are monetary bids on certain words. These words sometimes put the web writer's work on the front page of the Google Search Engine. Of course, he would have to pay, but the monetary rewards and pay per click or pay per impression return on investment can huge.

Now you can readily see the difference between keywords and tag words. Keywords are words that can monetize the hubpage while tag words are place as a part of the hubpage to optimize the readership.

You may say that tag pages are keywords because by optimizing the readership, there will be an increase of readerhip who may or may not click on the keyword ad.. Another difference is that the reader must click on the keyword that is connected to a ad in Google Adsense for monetization. Tags words are not connected to ads in Google Adsense. The tag words are connected to words in your article. But from an indirect perspective, if the tag word happens to be a Google keyword and a reader clicks on the ad from the tag word, then money can be made, inadvertedly.

Search Engine Optimization can be costly and for the hubpage writer and hubpage rules is it best to stay within the hubpage guidelines of optimization. Use what free devices are given you in the forms of photos, videos, links, and affiliation with ebay and amazon to optimize your hubpage article. Hubpages has an excellent relationship with Google and a few hubpage writers have found themselves on the front page of Google Search Engine relevant to their particular topic at no charge.
