By Mark Knowles

Everyone knows Mormons are not proper Christians, but here is is one guy's take on the REAL TRUTH about Mormons.

Filmed in the heart of the Mormon Center of Power - Salt Lake City.

Possibly the funniest Anti-Mormon Video I have ever seen.

John Saffran is "Trading Places" with the Mormons.

That was absolutely hysterical!.I've never had a Mormon come to the door, but I've had a few Jehovah's Witnesses.

I usually invite them in and go over 3 passages or so from the Bible, and then...... I'm off the list. Haven't had one here in ages, and see them going up and down the street all the time. I guess they just want an easy "sign up". Debating is just too much work.

Thanks for the video Mark, quite funny.

Some of the greatest people I have known have been Mormans. I never gave a dam what they believed in, just that they treated me with dignity and respect. I have known 100s of them and they never have pushed their views or beliefs on me. If I asked about what they believed they would tell me.

Mormons live to push their views on others. They spend 2 years of their young lives traveling around places where they are not wanted. Here in Toulouse I have recently seen them going door to door in the Muslim neighborhoods. I should take a video, I'm sure some of the encounters are priceless.

LOL - You are obviously not aware of why I made this hub. Or have any idea of where I am coming from with this one.

There is no such thing as a "proper" christian.

Mark,

Very funny. Tho I am not an atheist, I have to agree that there is no such thing as a "proper Christian." It's amazing how many of the people who consider themselves to be "proper Christians" spend way more time talking about how much other people suck than they do actually trying to be "Christlike." Seriously, it's as though they have no idea who their "savior" even is!

Thanks for the laugh...I'm off to YouTube to find more from this guy.

First I have to say, It was hilarious. I got quite a kick out of this guy. Being LDS and having a sense of humor are not mutually exclusive. I happen to be a member of the LDS church who believes in Natural Selection.

However there was one thing almost as funny as the video and thats the lady who lived down the street from some armed compound. LOL the LDS church doesnt have any armed compounds anywhere; let alone Texas? I'm sure the guy got arrested for his religion or lack thereof too...that would be a nice law suit would it not?

John Saffran - a Great Aussie comedy figure.

He came to prominence on a national TV show a few years ago, where people were sent around the world with some money and a camera, and their task was to make a program suitable for screening on TV.

He's been amusing us for ages with various topics.

And I've got nothing against God.

It's just his various fan clubs that I can't stand.

Cheers,

No one should make light of sacred things. Maybe you believe there is no God, but the majority do not agree with you. Our country was founded on religious freedom in many forms. We need to be tolerant of all of them. That is what Christ taught.

This may be entertaining on YouTube, but it has no place here.

Mark Knowles profile image

Mark Knowles  says:

It is not sacred to me. And if you don't realize how stupid that comment sounds.....

WORDS TO DESCRIBE THE PEOPLE OF THE LDS MORmON CULT:

1) PIOUSED PRUDES -- who are going to have to eat their temples and statues before being forgiven of this sin. They have so much sickly pride that they reak with self-righteousness!!! BOLOGNA and Drakkar Noir. Go to Temple Square and look around. You'll see where all these fools money went. Of course they have to brag about all the famous MORmONS. The poor misguided geniuses like Browning who invented the rifle cartriges still used today. "With such intelligent people in our COMMIEunity religion-CULT! How could anyone not believe?" They take pride to a whole new level of disgust. In SLC there is enough self-righteousness to create a black hole. Everywhere you go there is pioused EXPENSIVE statuary and landmarks. You can even hear the statues bragging. Yeah, they have good craftsmanship and enginuity, so what! Just another reason for them to believe that they are above the regular NORMAL human race. A reason to invent the planet Kolob. Maybe we should send them back, yeah?!!!

2) RACIST BIGOTS -- who claim that was just the way it was in that time, BUT FAIL to ever say that they still and always will believe that blacks are the decendants of Cain. They truly don't want you in their church and they damned well don't want you fucking their sons and daughters and poisoning their blood with yours. They'll let you become a member, but in the collective mind(because individual minds don't exist and aren't acknowledged...esp. women), they know that no matter how hard you try...YOU'RE STILL DAMNED TO HELL!!! They are pro slavery as well. They exercise this in their women by raising their daughters to be second class citizens. ...and selling them to their highest bidding brother!!! ...As in religious cuckoo brother or literal brother. Not black brothers. They might not literally sell them, but they definately and eventually gain financial security enough to not end up in a second or third class retirement home. It's first class all the way and their wealth hasn't a damned thing to do with righteousness!!! That's the excuse they use. The LDS Church is a multi-billion dollar corporation. Maybe trillion! It's underlying purpose is to teach YOUNG aspiring white boys how to get rich and get the corporation richer, while banging as many wrongfully-wed bitches that they can get their hands on. If you "Choose The Right"(it should be CTW for "Choose The Wrong" or "Choose The White"), the corporation CULT with take good care of you!!!

3) Do I even have to tell you? You know what it is. The "P" word. POLYGAMY!!! Can you say PERVERT!!!? They sit around bitching about the fags just given the right to marry(and they say it just like that. I know...my company is ran by MORmONS and I overheard their conversation about it not being fair to plural marriage). They believe that they are "GODS IN A DEVELOPMENT STAGE" and that the more kids they have the more chance they have at being a God of THEIR OWN planet. You see? ...segregation. To each his own. Their own founder "profit" Joe Smith had plural marriages. He was even married to another mans wife who wasn't even a member of the church. Sounds like a good enough reason to kill a man to me.

4) MISC. STUFF -- Did you know that they have a massive and I mean MASSIVE weapons storehouse underneath the museum in Temple Square? Yeah, it's true! You know what that's for don't you? It's to ensure that they are the 144,000 or just in case the Army got froggy again. Would Jesus walk around with an M4? That's what they need to ask themselves, but the'd just twist the truth all to hell again. Can you say "Latter-Day Aints"

God, an illusion like everything else we humans have created, doesn't exist. At least not in the way the fan clubs tell the story. We need to shake it up once in a while, and humor is the best way to do so. I'm very abrupt with the JWs around here, but some of my friends like to engage these impressionable young men and see if they can wake the guys up. Get them to use their brains a little. Mark- Whatever Charles Darwin has propounded through scientific evidence evolution does seem more accurate but the cultural aspects of togetherness and joy in celebration of festivals like Christmas also can go hand in hand. That's what I meant earlier.

Mark- Call it what you will but at this time of the year their is joy, music and general good feeling all around. And about giving gifts to each other then I don't say buy buy buy but I say do give gifts since it shows the other person how much we care. I do use some creative hand made gifts that I give to people I am close to.

Mark Knowles profile image

Mark Knowles  says:

I am not arguing with that. But there are many who feel the desperate need to buy stuff and cannot afford it. Christmas is the traditional high point of suicides in the western world.

I have no problem with joy and goodwill.

Why can't we do that all year 'round?

countrywomen profile image

countrywomen  says:

That is so sad when people go out of their way in spending way beyond their means. I guess when one gets emotional then it leads to impulsive buying which is tough to control. I personally do have a budget and stick to it no matter how good the deal is.

Can some one run a marathon with the speed of a sprint. It is tough to sustain it throughout the year I guess. My mom always used to say we need different flavors to appreciate the good when we get hence maybe throughout the year is a tough call(enjoy it as long as you get it)..hehe
