There are cases when you're having a poor credit and no bank or credit union is going to give you the money for a mortgage or something else, money that you surely need but do not know where to take. The first thing I have to say to you, is that mortgages for people with poor credit do exist, but you have to skip the bank or other big lenders if you're willing to get the money - the idea behind those lenders (like banks) is that perhaps they're not going to risk to get you some money they have - not now, because it's recession - because they may not take those money back and they risk more. But this does not mean that you're not going to find some sort of private lenders for your mortgage, but this is not going to be cheap because you're willing to pay a bigger interest - because of having a poor credit.

   If you're having a poor credit then you have to know that there is always a solution or alternative and you don't have to go dissperate - I'll be writing here more solutions and programs to get loans:

• military loans (va loans for homes) - this loans are special for people from the military bussiness and you could find more informations to apply - all this lenders do have a website on the internet and it's easy nowdays to get it done. The only thing is that not all the people could get a va home loan because it's only for those who have been in the military field. 
• government loans - there are loans from the government (basicaly in order to help you if you can't afford a regular mortgage but you need a home). 

   So, I've been saying that you need to respect some things in order to get this kind of loans, here you go:

• late payements are a very big problem to your credit - if you have many late payments then you could have some sort of problems (like in the case of having a poor credit - always clean your credit clean) if you're willing to quality for a fha home loan.
• you need to show that you're having a job/income, in order not to risk to much from you - if you're just getting a new job and you have exchanged a lot of jobs in the past year or two, then there may be some sort of problems. You may need to show that you're staying long in a job in order for the lender to be sure you're going where to get the money and pay your taxes.
• bankruptcy - yes, you could get one of this even if you had a bankruptcy in the past

   There are always cases when you could not quality for a fha loan or something like this (and not all of use have been into military) and you need something else as an alternative for your mortgage. Mortgages for people with bad credit may be tricky, but if you're doing a little bit of research then you're going to figure it out and see that's there always a good alternative, or, even an alternative.

   Bad credit and mortgage could be tighten with secured loans, in the case you're going to have some sort of collateral. The only thing here is that you may be paying a lot more because of the risk from the lender part (the lender does not know if he can trust you in order to give you the money, but it's going to give you the money, there are lenders online that give you the money instant - they're having some sort of websites where you could apply online). The interest is bigger, but is a good alternative for people with poor credit and a mortgage.
