pol rumor mill says the repubs might give in and grab natl health care themselves to run on in 2008 if they can figure out how to put a conserv spin on it so it doesn't look like they are reversing themselves or as the term they prefer... flip-flopping.

These poll results can't be ignored. I wonder if the Dems will wait until 2008 in order to have a Dem (hopefully) in the WH, in order to get full credit for such a monumental change. Fortunately, we have about 20 countries' history to use to come up with a system that really works.
The cynical (and, unfortunately, realistic) side of me wonders when Big Pharma will start massively spending on PR to convince us that universal health care is against our own interests.
