Motivational song

Why motivation?

Whether it is Industry or Business, home or institute, a leader should know how to motivate and manage people. Managing people is the most difficult part of management. It is the most interesting too. If you want to be a good manager or leader or wish to bring best out of your people you must know the art of managing people. You should take challenges to perform a task and motivate your people to bring their potential out. A group or team under you will outperform the task.

Every man and woman has hidden abilities that are suppressed due to various reasons. Beside hereditary reasons, environment plays a great role in one's performance. Large number of people have an inbuilt inferiority complex. As they have not got a chance to show their abilities. (They are the people to whom you need most to motivate and manage). This complex decreases one's confidence. One fails to perform despite his or her potential and competence if lacking confidence. This is the critical area for a leader like you.

However, motivation can boost one's confidence.

A motivated person becomes confident. Confident person performs better. Better performance again boosts one's confidence and motivates one to perform better. This grows in cyclic order. One's best starts coming out.

Nothing is impossible

A motivated person again motivates one's group or team. Motivated individuals or teams can take challenges. They set higher goals and thrive to achieve it. They act persistently. They do not fear obstacles. Obstacles cannot restrict them from doing their job. Their motto becomes “Nothing is impossible".

As a boss, how would you like to get work from your sub-ordinates?

Will you force them to work? Will you punish them for poor performance? Will you give them pink slips?

Will not you like to motivate them to perform better? Will not you like to get the best results from them?

It is in your best interest to know art of motivation because you are the boss.

You are the great leader. You can-change the path of rivers. You can conquer the highest pick of a mountain. Discover the potential within you. You can build a Nation. Believe that you and only you are the pioneer.

Internal forces: Instinct and emotion

Extremely strong force of instinct and emotion drives everyone of the human race. However, knowledge and experience opens him to the external world. One learns to react to external world but instinct and emotion remain as main driving force. Instinct is related to basic survival needs. If one is incapable of doing something or has a lack of confidence, he / she develops a fear factor for the same. Due to this fear factor, one shields oneself and can not take necessary actions. It gradually develops inferiority complex that in turn leads to enhance lack of confidence and incompetence. How can you keep them hopeful in tough times?

As a leader, you have to motivate your people. It is better to gain knowledge of the above mentioned. It is also advised that a leader should allow people to commit mistakes. You, as a Boss, may then, train them, pat them and reward them for good works. Gradually those people will come out of fear, gain confidence and work better.

See how to impress your Boss?

This develops gratitude among the followers for their Boss. They love their leaders. This very emotion of love binds them in a strong bond of fellow feeling with their leader. I, myself have experienced such followers who love me and are ready to do anything for me.

As they love their leaders, they fill positive energy. This positive energy eliminates all fear. They feel confident and that encourages them to be self-managed.Their internal energy and hidden talents come out. Their potentials turn into performance.

This is the way motivation helps managing people better. You are the leader. You deserve the best. Hence, motivate your people and get the best from them.

Before I got out of the first paragraph, I found it interesting, somewhat surprising that HUBBER instantaneously referred to leader as a he.

A leader would know that a leader could be a he or she.

A leader should know that HUBpages is filled with she's, and such a omission could be interpreted as a disrespect by many.

I think a leader needs to know when they should follow. Sometimes you lead, sometimes you follow. It all depends on the situation. She or he, a good leader should know that. - David

Dear David,

It is spontaneous. There is no willingness to disregard the fair sex. I think even the females understand it. Pls veiw the comments from the "She"s. Still, I am thankful to you for the comment.

Hi Jyoti,

I am motivated with your hubs. All of your hubs are wonderful and informative. It is clear from the hub that instinct plays a major role in our life, even more than the emotions and intellegence.

Hi indian lady,

instinct is much deep rooted than emotions. Intellegence is superficial. If one can control instincts he or she can control everything in life.

Link your motivation with instincts.
