Motorcycle Accident Victims Need Legal Aid
58Fight the Insurance Companies
To those who are not motorcyclists, it may be hard to understand the lure of something which, to the outsider, looks so dangerous. After all, you are riding a delicately balanced vehicle at high speeds with nothing more than your clothes and, hopefully, a helmet between you and the road in the event of an accident. When you consider how much more of a pitfall seemingly minor things like speed bumps, potholes, and debris are to a two wheeled vehicle than to a more stable vehicle, the risk seems even more imprudent.
For the most part, these are people who have never felt the wind whipping their face, the immediacy of the communion with to the open road, and the excitement of negotiating traffic. It is invigorating, liberating, and exhilarating. The possibility of catastrophe is definitely worth the rewards.
Admittedly, however, the thought of a motorcycle accident can cause a shudder on occasion. After all, there really is very little to protect a motorcyclist in the event of a crash, and the chance of suffering a traumatic injury is far greater to a motorcycle rider than a passenger inside a protected cab. Even with a helmet, injuries can be critical and recovery long. In the event of a motorcycle crash, it pays to locate an experienced lawyer, one well-versed motorcycle laws and, preferably, a motorcyclist himself!
Such a lawyer knows how to get the best possible settlement in cases involving a motorcycle. The thick legal language and paperwork that is so foreign to the average person is no problem to a lawyer, and the tactics used by insurance companies to avoid payment are anticipated and overridden. When your motorcycle lawyer refuses to accept a fee unless he successfully settles your case, you know he means business!
With any luck, you will enjoy a wonderful life full of smooth cycling, but in the event of a motorcycle accident, it is nice to know where to turn for help. When you are recovering from accident injuries, the last thing you want to be doing is haggling with insurance companies and courts!

Good advice for sure. I like the illustration that you added to your blog. One thing that comes to mind is a trip to hawaii I took where you see so many people riding scooters and motorcycles wearing shorts and flip flops...talk about a really great way to lose some limbs and at the least some toes.
