The various functions which are incorporated in the retail version of mobile PhoneTools include: synchronization of phonebook and calendar with personal information manager, connecting the computer to the Internet via cell phone's data service (e.g. GPRS, EDGE), reading and composing text messages or emails on the computer, transferring of sound, image, and video files between computer and cell phone and updating cell phone firmware.
Mobile phone tools combine the power of the PC and mobile phone. They are equipped with special features such as synchronize of contacts, calendar and tasks, facility to personalize with ringtones, pictures and videos. Motorola has launched the latest version in the series of Motorola phone tools.

Sorry hihi but I'm using motorola phone tools right now, and I got it for free off of www.mininova.org . Go there and then search for motorola under the programs section. If you can't find it after this, go buy a news phone.

The downloads from both mininova.org and rapidshare works well. With mininova.org you would need to download utorrent or another torrent client to be able to download the executable file. rapidshare is more direct and the password was as indicated by pw earlier. The rapidshare version is a later one though both automatically update from the internet. Hope this helped.

if u want program fast just go on your motorola hames and apps go to moto help down below it should give you a website go on it and click on update and enter your warranty date it will say download update but the update is actually the full version only 24 meg complements on me

I got it to download but had to go back and figure out how to open a RAR file. After I downloaded another program to open those type of files it worked like a charm! THANK SO MUCH!!! I have been looking for this software forever without having to pay for it!!
Don't download it from limewire... i tried almost every single one listed in the search and they all had viruses. The link from mininova.org is working so far. I had to d/l something else first but it looks good so far.

Here is a free trial of the Mobile PhoneTools 4. You just have to have a USB cable or bluetooth and the computer will be able to see the phone.

i hope someone in motorola is reading this. i got a mpt cd that let me load the software on my old pc, but i find i have to pay for downloading software on my new windows vista notebook software. this is ridiculous, you (motorola) are shooting yourself in the foot if you think your mpt software is worth paying for - easier for me to buy a new nokia phone.
