Moving is one of the most daunting tasks that anyone can do. I have moved a total of ten times in my life and each time it became easier to do. When I move I require order and delegation - which work hand in hand to get the job done quickly and easily.

Start Early

If you are lucky you will be prepared to move and will give yourself a month or two notice. Even if you are not sure if you are going to get the house you want you need to start packing. Just knowing that it is a possibility is enough to get the ball rolling. If you wait too long you will be rushing to get everything done and everything will fall apart.

Room To Room

Start with one room (the one least used) and pack it up. Once you have packed up that first room it will become the storage room for all of the other boxes. Go through each room and pack up everything but the essentials. When the time gets closer to move you can put all the boxes in the front close to the door. This will make it easier to put it into the truck.

Supplies

Make sure that you have all of the necessary moving supplies that will help to get the job done quickly. Boxes, paper, tape, and a marker are the most necessary. Mark the boxes as fragile when needed so you know to be careful and mark what room they belong in. This makes it easier to unpack.
