I believe the whole situation about being proud for the first time in her life was taking way out of proportion. Of course any reasonable person can remember saying things that didn't deliver well or had others misconstrue the purpose of the comment. She is being attact for something petty by the Clintons. This is another shameful moment for the Clintons if this is all they have.Whose team are they on:?
I've told my son the same thing. That doesn't mean I am not proud to be his mother,It means this is a very proud moment and should be recongnized.
This campaigne is also the proudest moments for me also,being an american right now is historical. I can finally see the love for our country and all its people being conveyed.Is that not what you feel also. I know all people do not love one another,but doesn't it feel good to see the possible future Mrs.Head of This America conveying it to us?
People need to lighten up and give that woman a break. If she didn't love america she wouldn't be living here . Or doing the work she's doing . Not to mention supporting a husband running for president for the free world! Whew!
Can we all just get along? Oh know! I just plagerized!!! Don't crucify me!!!

I am confused when TV or radio commentators say something happened "for the firrst time since..." It either happened the first time or not. Better to say - "The last time this happened was..."
I also think what Michelle Obama meant to say that she was proud that for the first time America has real diversity in our choice for president. Well, amongst Democrats, at least. Diversity for Republicans went out the window in the 1870's, when they used to believe like Democrats do now. But of course there are people who, for their own poltical agendas, will take anything and make it mean something else.
Just goes to show you that no matter what you say, someone is there to record it, and someone is there to beat the drum against you, even if you misspoke.
