Learning how to deal with negative answers
If you’re about to start in multilevel marketing business (or if you already work with mlm) – and you think to recruit new distributors to form your Distributor’s Team – you should accept that many people won’t be joining to your business opportunity.
This is the reality and there’s nothing you can do about it – You should learn to accept the negative answers and face it in a positive way so you can move on and achieve your goals.
If you don’t internalize this and if you can’t hold all the “NO” answers you will receive during the way then you’ll pass through some difficulties.
When you are presenting your business opportunity to someone you always should keep this in mind:
- You are offering to people the opportunity to improve their lives by getting some extra income and the possibility to reach unlimited income if they take business in a serious way – you’re not asking for charity, you’re not asking for a favour… you should never act like if you’re asking for a favour because if you do that the person will realize it and they will never face the mlm business in a serious way because they will always be thinking that are doing you a favour – and that will be really bad!
So you must demonstrate confidence and leadership (even if you are in starting point). You should act like a real leader from the very start – After all, although you’re not already a leader you’ll become one very soon.
To keep you business growing you’ll have to find ways to have new prospects every day and at the same time you must help and motivate the elements of your team to do the same.
Over time you’ll talk and explain the business to a large number of persons and so it’s natural if many of them are not interest in you offer. It’s a very normal thing!
Even if you were a natural born leader or a “recruiting machine” - you’ll still be receiving a lot of negative answers. That’s inevitable!
On the other hand you can be sure that the greatest leaders – those who are in the higher levels of multilevel marketing companies – are the ones that have heard the “NO” answers a larger number of times. And if you’re receiving negative answers that’s a positive thing in a certain way, because it also means that you are working and that you are promoting your mlm opportunity. And in the middle of all this you will also receive some positive answers and you’ll sign up some new distributors. That’s how mlm works – and it’s the same for everything in life!
You should never take a negative answer as personal issue – after all, the person is only rejecting your business opportunity and nothing more. There’s nothing wrong about it – instead you should concentrate yourself on what is really important: help and motivate the ones who said “yes” and keep promoting your business – talking to more and more people, receiving more negative answers and at same time making some more recruitments – and only this way your business will grow and you will be achieving MULTILEVEL MARKETING SUCCESS!
