I wanted to create this hub based on the film Slum Dog Milliionaire which tells the story of slums in Bombay the present Mumbai. Kamatipura or popularly known as Kamathipura is a red light place in the streets of the Mumbai city. Life if girls in these places is very difficult and they are asked to live in small rooms called cage houses. Poor conditions are given to them and it is full of heart breaking sad scenes. Many indian actres especially the hindi and tamil actress have many times acted in such roles. Rani Mukherjee, Geethu Mohandas in malayalam , Kareena Kapoor in Chameli as a devadasi are only a few examples. Lot of movies are made now a days based on such topics of poor people, they are making use of the emotions and making the films successful.
