Can you hear them or is it just me
The whispering voices singing with glee
Sometimes there're mean and very cold
Other times their voices pierces my soul
They can say sweet things and laugh
And then just turn on you in a flash
In my dreams I'm the one they hear
My voice so loud they shiver in fear
Trying to find a place to hide
To dull the sound they hear inside
Seeing their faces is like a mirror
Because I see me so much clearer
When their tones invade my mind
No place to escape could I find
Then I wake to begin all over again
Hearing the whispering voices deep within
