Mushroom butter toast
Ingredients:
1. 250gms mushroom, sliced
2. 25gms butter
3. 1 clove garlic, crushed
4. 2 thick slices of bread
5. 1tsp mustard
6. 5tsp curd
7. Salt to taste
Method:
Heat a frying pan and melt the butter. When sizzling, add mushrooms and cook on a high flame, stir until mushrooms are tender and juicy. Toast and butter the bread. Add the mustard, salt and pepper in the mushroom with 4 tsp of curd. Serve this sauce over the toast. Spoon the remaining curd on the top.
Marinated mushroom
Ingredients:
1. 400gms mushroom, medium size
2. 2/3 cup oil
3. 1/3 cup vinegar
4. 2tsp oregano
5. 1tsp basil
6. 1tsp salt
Method:
Clean the mushroom and place them in a casserole dish (that has a lid) in a single layer. Combine the oregano, basil and salt in a bowl. Sprinkle this on the mushroom. In a medium saucepan, heat oil and vinegar. Pour over seasoned mushroom. Seal dish and refrigerate. Marinate over night before serving cold.
