Oh yeah!!! Techno to its ultimate best! You better believe it...
iPod rocks my world! literally...
I would never leave the house without my iPod. No seriously! It’s like, permanently glued to my ear! I’m even listening to it now ( I like my rock music ). There is nothing better than a bit of head banging now and again!
Do you want to know what really funks me out with this gadget? It’s not just for music. Loads of my friends don’t give toss about music, they’ll listen to anything. However, even though they don’t go nuts for bump in the night music, they love to satisfy their visual side of life. Yep, that’s right! They love having access to millions of DVD quality movies and TV shows ready to download and watch.
It’s pretty cool.
Give your iPod nano a Brazilian!
Oh, and no! Not that kind! I’m talking about iPods… remember?
Ok so back on topic... This little Brazilian is supposed to stop your wires getting tangled as it can be a real pain in the butt getting them untangled again!
I guess you can say that this gadget is more of a convenience accessory – mainly for those who can be a tad impatient when it comes to unnecessary hold ups...
iTube iPod Speaker is Quite Groovy, Baby
Introducing iTube, one of the grooviest iPod docks out on the market today.
It kind of reminds me of Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader lightsabers’ but it’s actually a “Modern iPod Compatible Lava Lamp”. It’s definitely a funky accessory for all those audioholics out there!
In a nutshell, these iPod speakers are capable of a 360-degree acoustic sound. Plus, you also have the option of controlling the light patterns and bubbles. Is that whack or what?
So I guess this means you can sit back with the music and your trusty little lightsaber/lava lamp remote control and enjoy recreating that certain disco feel in your home.
Belkin RockStar Lets You Share Music With Friends
One thing is for sure, we were always taught to share. So these guys figured, what better to share than music?
How many times have we had friends sitting next to us that we wanted to play a song to through our iPod? Hands up? Ye... that’s what I thought!
We’ll the problem seems to be solved. The RockStar offers six ports—one input and five outputs—so you can split one signal to many sources. It’s also cool because the five outputs can be toggled to input as well, so you can mix more than one signal together and output to one source. Could be handy for some awesome mixing.
Put it this way, music is the one thing than can be enjoyed over and over again. You can even tell someone how you feel by playing them a song. Come on people! Share the music one more time baby!
Bean Bag chairs get geeky thanks to hi tech upgrades
Meet the iBean...
iBean meet the world...
This kind of technology definitely tickles my pickle, especially when it makes lazing around fun.
iPod accessories range from the great to the surreal and the iBean figures somewhere in between.
Filled with polystyrene beads, it makes quiet a comfortable chill place for one to lounge around, do homework, etc. while listening to your favourite tunes.
Talk about an upgrade from the iconic bean bag!
The iBean Bag Chair is built with included dual speakers and sub woofer and supports mp3 players, laptop computers, DVD players and virtually all-electronic game platforms. So take a seat, plug in your music, and control the volume and bass levels with the easy to reach side panel which comes with a headphone port.
Definitely a winner for high-tech ultimate comfort! Whoooohoooo!
iPond plays sounds, stores fish
Fancy this portable speaker that carries a fish along with it?
I’ve seen a lot of crappy inventions stem from the iPod, but the best of these in recent memory is the iPond, an Australian product that crams a really tiny fish tank — and a Siamese fighting fish — into a weird package that looks sort of like an iPod.
Pet stores in Australia have been selling a portable speaker with a built-in fish tank, designed to hook up to portable audio devices like the iPod. (The cleverly named iPond, is currently drawing fire from animal rights groups for not providing adequate space for a fish to live.)
The speaker is directly coupled to the outside of the tank ... so you are going to have a small level of sound introduced. It's the same as putting a fish tank on a speaker.
Given the tank's size, I would think that perhaps "Take Me To The River" would be the fish's choice...
Boomwave Nanopets Are Downright Adorable
The portable player cases feature rounded corners with dog eared designs, and come in four different colours which include 'Doggstarr' black, 'Spitzer' white, 'Bichpoo' pink, and 'Bludhound' red.
Each case comes with its own background story, as well as a list of likes and dislikes of the imaginary pet.
They also come with a neck strap and a protective screen to keep your little nano pets face from getting all scratched up.
Super cute... If your into that kind of thing.
Ion makes it even easier to rip your tunes to your iPod
In an effort to make it easier for the iPod generation to enjoy the hisses and crackles of those wonderful old vinyl albums, Ion has gone a step further upgrading their USB Turntable to rip directly to an iPod.
I suppose if you’re ready to throw the coolest party of the year, you need to hook up with one of these babies...
Anyone up for an iPod party then?
Waterproofing your iPod lets you Swim Differently
It’s a well known fact that people love to listen to music while they work out.
What better way to get the sweat pumping than to the sound of music?
Snapping digital pictures while snorkelling has been a reality for some time with underwater casings for cameras, but what about being able to listen to music while surfing?
But now, thanks to the iPod industry, yet again, even swimmers can have a fabulous party under water.
So there you go. All you fitness geeks will have to invest in a waterproof case and waterproof headphones. So it doesn't drift off to the bottom of the ocean, it also comes complete with a lightweight neoprene belt pouch.
The Aquapac case is the simplest design. It's basically a thick plastic bag with a clamping mechanism on one end and a headphone jack on the other. Plug your player into the headphone jack and clamp the bag shut. You can operate the click wheel on your iPod through the clear plastic front. It's guaranteed to keep your device dry in up to 15 feet of water.
Now you never have to leave your music behind even while hanging at the beach or swimming at the pool and you can even tune out other people’s kids while sunning yourself poolside!
iBeetle in the pipeline?
And the latest must-have? An office on four wheels
The iBeetle (or could it be the iCar?) would definitely be a marriage made in heaven as both the Volkswagen Beetle and iPod portable media player are popular icons in their own right.
Imagine owning a car where you’re never offline, transferring your digital audio library from a home computer to the car with the ability to download and edit photos. I know I’d be lining up for one.
And so we thank yet again the constant turning of the iWheel.
