68Welcome to the web space dedicated to new vehicles from Piaggio and Gilera.
Enjoy your visit to Piaggio and Gilera's virtual stands!
The mythical Vespa extends its range once more: alongside the new generation, represented by the Vespa ET4 125 cc four stroke and the Vespa ET2 50 cc models with "traditional" and injection two stroke engines, the Milan Fair presents, for the first time, the long-awaited "back to the future" for the glorious
Vespa PX : a disc brake, a new look and other novel features for Model Year '98 of the classic, four-speed gear Vespa in displacements of 125, 150 and 200cc.
Piaggio confirms its position as the "ideas" company in the high wheeled scooter segment: following on the heels of the European launch of the Liberty 50, which has quickly established itself on the market, the four stroke Liberty 125 an innovative, environment-friendly proposal for evolved urban commuting, is on display.
On its thirtieth birthday, the Ciao emerges in a special "anniversary" version that simultaneously celebrates three decades of success and recalls the very first version of the world's best known moped.
Meanwhile, Gilera uses the Milan Fair to emphasise its role as a young, dynamic, sportive and aggressive brand. Personality, technological innovation and performance are the hallmarks of the new Gilera models, starting with the exceptional Runner, the innovative two wheeler with a hybrid design that recalls both scooter and motorcycle. Now, with the addition of two more "adult", powerful versions, the Runner converts itself into an entire range. Alongside the Runner 50, the higher-displacement Runner FX 125 and Runner FXR 180 cc make their debut, equipped with exceptional two stroke, liquid cooled engines. And in the off-road segment, the aggressive Gilera Stalker has a powerful, new generation two stroke 50cc engine and a double disc brake, geared towards youngsters but easily capable of appealing to a more mature clientele because of its comfort, protection from the environment, and its capacity to handle even the most demanding off-road use.
