Interesting history of music...Progressive jazz and classical music are the only branches of music I can listen to with appreciation...the trash music of the last 5 decades is aimed at folks more interested in physical activity than mental...nothing written in the past 5 decades begins to compare with a Chopin etude, or an Ahmed Jamal improv...the rest is just noise ( to my ear anyway )...Thanks for this...Larry
