Many of the musicians you know by one name have changed them from their birth names either for shock value or because the record label suggested it. I have found a few of these and posted them here for you to see.

He's been, banned, booed and boobed and yet they come back for more.He and his band have came along way from the once named Marilyn Manson and The Spooky Kids to what is just now Marilyn Manson. I guess his alter ego has a bloated ego as well. To say he has one foot in hell is definitely an understatement.

Head's real name is Brian Welch. He's the former guitarist from Korn a pimp metal band from California. They had major success around the world with Singles such as "Adidas" and "Blind". With this success came many hard years in Brians life with addiction to alcohol and meth. He has since left the band and started a solo career as christian rock artist and left all his hardships behind. All I can say is good job Brian keep up the good work.

Elton John's real name is Reginald Kenneth Dwight. He's been Elton John since 1967. This rocker has also been known as Captain Fantastic. He's been through a lot in his days. A former student of the Royal Academy of Music, His first band, Bluesology, He even sang with John Lennon on his come back track "Whatever Gets You Through The Night". His flamboyant and often wild shows have helped solidify his spot in rock music forever.

Alice Cooper's Real name is Vincent Damon Furnier. This shock rocker has explosive shows filled with women, fire, and snakes. Without Alice Cooper we may have not had bands with the likes of our #1 #5 or #6. Along with making his own music he does side projects, a nightly radio show and even owns his own restaurant/sports bar. He's had 25 studio records and I'm sure we can rest assured he has more up his sleeve.

Buckethead's real name is Brian Patrick Carroll. I don't know much about this guy. In the research that I've done it has been said that he lived on a farm then moving to the chicken shack. Ironic that he now wears his roommates urn of fried remains on his head. I've also found out that he has collaborated with Guns N' Roses, Les Claypool, and Iggy Pop. Pretty impressive for a guy that lived in a chicken coop.
