I have a lot of hobbies. Probably too many! I have to say that one of the most fun and satisfying is that of designing shirts and clothing. This is a great outlet for your creativity, or just a fun way to throw your pithy sayings, and clever turns of phrase out there for everyone to see.

Whether you are an original artist, or someone who prefers a rapier sharp turn of a phrase to get a message across there are several places you can try this out. One of my favorites is Cafepress.

Yeah, it seems like it would be a worn out, cliched design, but with a little creativity and a slightly twisted sense of humor, you can revitalize, and reimagine even the familiar smiley in a way that is...well...a little different.

I have really enjoyed warping these smilies, and I hope you like the results, or that they at least give you a chuckle.

This Wicked Smiley design was the result of a doodle when I was playing with a graphics pad and pen.

The initial design was a play on drawing a face with Inkspace (the free vector graphics program) and that pad. I really liked the results! This Mutant Smiley has a grin and upturned eyes that betray its wicked thoughts!

This Snarly Smiley was created after some experimentation had produced the Wicked Smiley. This one freatures a little more detail, and some coloring in the eyes. It is even a little more stylized, but still recognizeable as a Smiley.

This one is one of my favorites of the Mutant Smiley Collection.

The Werewolf Smiley is a twist on the classic smiley. This smiley changes his nature with the waxing moon! As the moon comes full this smiley changes to his more bestial nature.

Be careful! The smiley's friendly aspect may keep you watching until it is too late, and then he will be upon you! Heh-heh. Smiley monster.

The Alien Smiley is reverse of the classic smiley with a black background body, and glowing green eyes. THis one is an alien based idea.

This is a scarier twist on the smiley than you usually see, but a lot of fun to wear. You will definitely get curious looks and questions with this one.
