My Calories can burn themselves while I eat this piece of pie
60
With the holiday season upon us, calorie counting is a thing of the past. Ok honestly, I have actually never been one to count calories and turn down a piece of pie. While I do strongly believe a healthy body is important, stressing over getting one surely isn’t the best way to achieve it.
I see these skinny girls everywhere, and I admit, I was one of them not too long ago. What am I know? A fuller bodied girl with sex appeal and the right attitude. Regardless, we should not “hate” on the small-waisted girls simply because they can squeeze their skinny asses in to a size 2 couture dress. (I’m a 6 by the way). Oh and spare me the eye rolling and sighs, please. Everyone, from a zero to 22 or whatever, have insecurities and complaints about their body. It’s what we do. We nip pick at ourselves like vultures, critiquing every single thing that is not perfect. So, what is the purpose of this hub? To encourage you to appreciate your body, and even better, appreciate that last piece of pie.
Despite what holidays we are celebrating this season, delicious calorie infested foods are placed right under our noses. So a few tips to enjoy those scrumptious appetizers, enticing entrees and mind boggling drinks... just let go. Exactly what I said. Now is not the time to be worrying about adding a pound or two. I’ll repeat, do not risk your health over a slice of heaven, but don’t prevent yourself either if your reasons are pure vanity. If you see something you feel you must have, grab some. The key here is boundaries. Limit yourself to a thin slice of pie. Avoid seconds and opt for anything but egg nogg or jam packed calorie in a cup mixed drinks.
Feeling a little guilty after you gave in? Just stop. If you are feeling that guilty, hit the sidewalks for a quick walk or even run a mile or two on the treadmill. Want an easier way to rid of those guilt trips? Laugh your calories off. Enjoy a joke or help clean the party area after the reception and you’ll effortlessly and unknowingly be burning those little dreadful c’s off.
So what do we do now that we have read this hub? Say “yes please” when someone offers you your favorite treat, then be polite and laugh at their jokes…even if they’re not funny, it’s a win win situation. ;)

This is good sound advice! Good hub! Here's s tip, drink freezing cold water. Your body has to spend and use up calories just heating it up to body temperature. Water makes you lose calories! Yup! : )
